Salmonberry Meadows Drumming Centre Clinton, Washington This building in the forest is part of the land surrounding the Chinook Learning Centre on Whidbey Island, off the coast of Washington State. The design drew its inspiration from the forest setting and from a circular yurt on the property. The interior space features a large octagonal drumming hall over compact living quarters. Environmental features include: super energy efficient windows, radiant in-floor heat, locally milled wood, and natural material finishes.
